3rd Symposium on Indigenous Languages

Jimena Terraza, Program Coordinator and Professor at Kiuna Institute, and Marco Bacon, Director of the Centre des Premières Nations Nikanite at UQAC, are very proud to coorganize the third annual symposium on Indigenous languages, on the theme Sustaining the transmission and teaching of Indigenous languages: Preparing the next generation, to be held May 29th and 30th, during 87th Annual Congress of ACFAS at the Université du Québec en Outaouais.

This symposium is organized in partnership with the Canadian Commission for UNESCO and the UNESCO Chair in the Transmission of First Peoples’ Culture to foster Well-Being and Empowerment – UQAC.
